Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using LuneX ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") operated by JN Horizon Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

LuneX is a gamified productivity application that includes focus timers, real life RPG style stats, AI companion features (Luno), Immersive Worlds, streak tracking, Bonds, Focus Circles, and related tools. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use LuneX. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Abuse Focus Circles, Bonds, or other social features to harass, spam, or harm others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App or its infrastructure.
• Misrepresent your identity or manipulate XP, streaks, or leaderboards through automated or fraudulent means.

6. Subscriptions & Purchases

Certain features may be offered as free, freemium, or paid (including via the Apple App Store or other platforms). Purchases and subscriptions are subject to the platform's payment terms. Refunds are handled according to the applicable store's policies unless otherwise required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

LuneX, including its design, code, branding, Worlds, Luno, and related content, is owned by JN Horizon Ltd or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the App for personal, non commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without prior written consent.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in LuneX (such as Bond memories and custom categories). By submitting content, you grant us a licence to host, store, and process it as needed to operate the App. You are solely responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it.

9. AI Features Disclaimer

Luno and other AI features provide informational and motivational guidance only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. You use AI features at your own discretion.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JN Horizon Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of LuneX. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or £0 if you use only free features).

12. Termination

You may stop using LuneX at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use of LuneX after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
